With a design philosophy rooted in simplicity, craftsmanship and purpose, her work blends contemporary luxury with spaces that remain deeply personal and enduring.

From Vision to HouseThat

In 2022, Anita founded HouseThat with a simple vision—to create a design practice where architecture, interiors, and execution work seamlessly together.

Today, HouseThat is a multidisciplinary design-build studio offering: Architecture, Interior Design, Turnkey Execution, Space Planning, Residential Design, Commercial Design, Hospitality Projects, Project Management, Design Consultation, Bespoke Furniture, Interior Styling & Photography, 3D Visualisation. Every project is approached with the same commitment to quality, transparency, and thoughtful execution—regardless of its scale.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Anita believes that the role of an architect extends far beyond creating beautiful spaces. The true responsibility of a designer is to understand a client’s lifestyle, aspirations, traditions, and personality so deeply that the completed home feels as though it could never have belonged to anyone else.

Rather than designing around a signature style, Anita designs around people. Because the most meaningful homes are not the ones that follow trends—they are the ones that feel deeply personal.

Every Space Begins With People

Driven by a desire to understand design from a global perspective, Anita completed an advanced fellowship in Luxury Interior Design and Space Planning in Milan, Italy—a city celebrated as the world's design capital.

Immersed in Italian architecture, craftsmanship, and timeless design philosophy, she discovered that true luxury is never loud. It is found in proportion, detail, materiality, and spaces that feel effortless.

Over the years, Anita’s work has been recognised through respected industry platforms and publications.

Her projects have been featured among AD India’s Top 10 Luxury Bath Space Designs for a project in Dubai, covered by ANI, and recognised through prestigious industry forums such as IDAC.
